The Quiet Room
A leafy canopy, a comfortable seat and a moment of retreat.
The idea
A small space, a generous feeling.
This courtyard study brings a simple bench, a clear floor plane and foliage overhead into one intimate composition. The focus is on comfort, texture and the experience of being surrounded by green.
Comfort
A bench gives the courtyard a purpose and a place to linger.
Enclosure
A canopy draws the eye upwards and brings shade and privacy.
Texture
Timber, gravel and foliage create a tactile, relaxed setting.
